One Day Tour in Penedés
9:30 Pick up at your hotel or other point of Barcelona in a comfortable minivan, we will head to the Penedes, just 45 km from Barcelona.
First visit: Visit the Codorniu Cava vinyards where you will join one of their guided tours. The Codorniu guide will take you through the huge underground cellars, the beautiful gardens and the stunning buildings designed by the art noveau architect Puig and Cadafalch. You will learn about the history and production of their famous sparkling white wines. It was here in 1872 that the sparkling wine known as cava was first born.
Transfer to traditional and first class restaurant in Vilafranca del Penedés.
13:00 Gourmet food in a traditional and first class restaurant in the heart of the Penedes, the Nou Tanins restaurant, Torres wine, cava and dessert are included.
16:30 Visit the Torres Winery where you will view the facilities and receive a brief overview of the house guide (available in several languages). The tour includes a video presentation, tunel stations, train ride, multisensory visit, guided tasting of a wine and the ability to purchase the most liked products in the Torres store.
